Welcome to the QMS Ltd Terms & Conditions. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions as set out below.

Privacy Policy

At QMS Ltd we are committed to providing you with a secure, convenient and transparent service. The following statement describes our privacy policy:

What information we hold about you:
If you have bought something from us we will have your email address, phone number, address and credit card details. If you choose to deliver items to a third-party (such as a friend) we will have their name and address. Information is only used to help us deliver the parcels and contact you.

You may also optionally decide to receive our newsletter and special offers. You can opt-out of this at any time by sending us an email (info@qms-ltd.com) with the words "un subscribe me" anywhere in the body or title of the mail.

We also maintain an order history of your purchases. This allows you and us to track your deliveries and review your past purchases.

We also collect information of a general nature about how many 'hits' our website gets. And we monitor the site traffic patterns; this tells us which areas of the site are being visited more than others. It also helps us build a more useful site in subsequent re-designs. We don't track individual users pathways through the site.

Cookies and How We Use Them:
Our site also uses 'cookies'. Cookies are small amounts of data sent to your web browser by a web server. They cannot harm your machine in any way as they are small text files with simple information in them. You can see them as small text files inside your 'Temporary Internet Files' folder in Windows. Our cookies keep track of the items in your shopping basket and act as place markers when you move around the site.

You can continue to browse our site without having cookies enabled, but unfortunately our current design relies on cookies to process your shopping cart order and so you will not be able to order online without them... However, we are always happy to take your order in person over the telephone at +44 (0)1273 668896.

What we do with your information:
In addition to processing your order, we also maintain an order history of your purchases. This allows you and us to track your deliveries and review your past purchases. We may offer you a reward for purchases or make an offer we think you might like based on your order history. We also send out a monthly email newsletter and the occasional 'Minimail' offers.

If you don't want to receive these offers, or our occasional newsletter, simply send an email to: info@qms-ltd.com. We NEVER exchange, sell or otherwise give away your email address to other companies. Your email address is used solely for emailing you regarding your orders and to update you with our newsletter.

Who else sees your information:
We may have to disclose some of your information to service suppliers to help complete your order. These parties include Royal Mail, Parcel Line, FedEx and TNT.

Your Consent:
By using our web site you consent to us using the personal information you have given QMS Ltd.com as outlined in this Privacy Policy. International Orders

Special information for all deliveries bound for the EU, US or Canada: We are happy to accept orders from the EU, US and Canada. All orders to these destinations will be EXEMPT FROM UK VAT TAX making your purchase approximately 17.5% cheaper! When placing your order, the VAT will be automatically deducted after you have selected your international address.

In an attempt to get the best price possible for your international shipping, we will contact you via email with a quote for shipping immediately after you have placed your order; please note that no shipping costs are added at the time of purchase. Once you have received a quote, you then have the option to either agree - in which case we will process and despatch the order, or cancel your order. WE WILL NOT PROCESS OR DESPATCH YOUR ORDER WITHOUT CONFIRMATION FROM YOU.

International orders are generally sent by courier, and take between 2 and 5 working days*. Orders sent by courier will need to be signed for.

* Although we have the best will in the world, we cannot unfortunately offer a guarantee on these delivery times as we are relying on third parties to deliver your goods. UK Orders

Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday, will be delivered in 1-3* working days to most mainland UK destinations, home or office (goods must be in stock). Deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm.

QMS Ltd operates a flat shipping fee based on the size of your item:

Small items cost £2.99 for shipping.
Large Items cost £5.99 for shipping.
NOTE: In some instances, we may need to adjust the shipping cost of a specific item(s). In this situation, we will contact you with the new price and will await your approval before proceeding with the order.

A signature may be required for orders that are delivered by a courier service; this applies to all luggage. Someone must be at your delivery address to sign for your parcel between 8am and 6pm. Please send it somewhere it can be reliably signed for such as your place of work.

Returning an item

Information on how to return items (including items under warranty) :

Returns/Guarantees Policy No Quibbles Guarantee
Our returns policy is simple! Our "no quibbles" guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, i.e. the item you have ordered is faulty, defective or you’ve had a change of heart (which is fair enough) you must return it to us unused and in its original condition within 30 days for a prompt replacement, exchange or refund.

Returning an item (including items under warranty)
How do I return an item? Simply call us on +44 (0)1273 241608 or email us at info@qms-ltd.com, where one of our customer support team will discuss and - subject to status - authorise your return. You must obtain authorisation before sending anything back to us or we will not be able to process your return. To give you a few pointers on how we manage our returns, here are some simple and easy to follow guidelines:

Faulty or defective items: If you return an item because of an error on our part, or it is defective, we will happily refund your costs in returning it to us. The item(s) must be returned within 30 days of purchase.

Change of heart: Goods returned to us because of a change of heart must be unused and in perfect, re-saleable condition (including product packaging, instructions, etc), otherwise we will not be able to refund you. You are responsible for any other service provided to you in connection with your purchase, e.g. delivery charge. The item(s) must be returned within 30 days of purchase. When first trying out your new item, please do so somewhere clean and safe - we can't replace soiled, scratched, torn or stained items.

Perishable goods: We are unable to accept returns of perishable goods. Goods that include cosmetics: Any item which includes cosmetics must be returned with the unopened and unused.

Returning a gift: We are happy to exchange faulty or defective products that have been sent as a gift. If you are returning an item but would like to exchange it for something else and you’re not sure what, we are happy to issue a credit voucher for the value of the item you are returning. If a refund is required however, please note that refunds of the purchase price for items bought as gifts can only be given to the original purchaser.

Items lost in transit: We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit: as you are responsible for returning the item(s) to us, we recommend sending the package by Recorded/Special Delivery.

Refunds, replacement and exchanges: Refunds For items that are defective or faulty and sent back to QMS Ltd within 30 days or the result of a Change of Heart and sent back to QMS Ltd within 30 days, a refund, replacement or exchange will be processed within 7 working days of receipt of the returned item(s) by QMS Ltd. A refund will be made in the same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase. Please note that item(s) that are returned to us that are not due to our error will have the return shipping costs deducted from the refund.

Please note, in all instances QMS Ltd shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses, including but not limited to lost profits, personal, third party, economic or other commercial losses. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

Ordering Online

1. Browse and Select Goods:
You can use our search facility to find specific items, or just browse through the website at your leisure. When you see something you want, click on the 'add to cart' button. You will then be taken to the Shopping Cart which will show you goods as you choose them, you will then be returned to the previous page allowing you to keep browsing the site. When you've made all your choices click on the 'Checkout' or 'Checkout now' button. You will then proceed to the checkout.

2. Checkout:
The checkout process lets you check and confirm and purchase your order, and give us one (or many) delivery addresses, phone numbers and card details. Simply follow the step-by-step checkout procedure and you will have a receipt indicating a successful purchase. You will receive a confirmation email from us once we have received your order.
